Meet the Bartolomei family and see their business, Nebraska Art Statuary, in action. Many of the individuals, including the Bartolomeis, who were in the business of supplying chalk figurines to carnivals were Italians from the same northern region in Italy known for producing art castings.

See a demonstration by John Bartolomei of plaster casting using molds that were produced by his father and grand father dating back to 1939.
